Bella Hardy is a singer with a difference. In live performance, she not only sings unaccompanied ballads with the stunning ability to hush any room, but also entwines that hypnotic voice with her own fiddle accompaniment to breathtaking effect. She has been nominated twice for the 2008 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards – in the “New Horizon and “Best Original Song” categories. She’s joined here by Chris Sherburn of “Last Night’s Fun” on concertina.
