Lake Records is the UK’s leading specialist label for Traditional styles of Jazz and its house band is something special. Coming hotfoot from headlining at the Theatre By The Lake at this year’s Keswick Jazz Festival the band includes: Ian Bateman (from Acker Bilk’s band and Back To Basie), Gordon Whitworth (formerly with the UK legend, Monty Sunshine), John Hallam (one of the leading reed players in the UK) and the amazing American pianist, Jeff Barnhart. Joining the band as guest is New Orleans trumpet player, Duke Heitger one of the finest players of his generation. The concert will be recorded.
