Journey South are Back and will be stopping off in Whitehaven as part of they're UK tour on the 31st 0ctober.

The working class Middlesbrough lads who shot to fame via the X Factor a couple of years ago are now about to launch they're latest album titled "Home"

Journey South

What makes this so special is that is an Album full top to bottom of original material written themselves, "its what we have always wanted, an album that we can call our very own" explains Carl, Andy's younger brother

Having shaken off the shackles of the X factor the lads have set up they're own label and will be releasing the forthcoming Album "HOME" on the 22nd October.

The first single from the album ‘That's what I love about home' will be released on the 15th October, it is a heart felt ballad that oozes passion and soul, with an infectious mixture of melodic harmonies and powerful vocals, this will surely be another hit for the chart topping lads from Middlesbrough.

The Whitehaven crowds will be one of the first live audiences to hear what's coming out along with material from they're previously successful album which sold over 600,00 copies, shooting straight to number one and even outsold the likes of Paul Weller, Christine Augilera and Lemar.

Journey South have spent the last year writing and producing ‘Home' of which Carl says ‘we are immensely proud of', having worked with top producers like Steve Robson (Busted, Westlife, and Blue) and Grammy Award winner Brian Rawlings (Tina Turner, Cher, Lemar) Andy and Carl have learnt the ropes on how to develop they're own sound and style when it comes to producing, and cant wait to hit the road again.

Tickets are available from the Whitehaven Civic Hall box office 01946 514 960
