Rosehill presents two likely lads…

Rosehill presents two likely lads... From Egremont, Francis Dunnery, is in concert and we have a stage version of the cockney "Don Juan" Alfie.

We are delighted to welcome Blackeyed Theatre back, with their production of Alfie on Friday 5 February at 7.30pm.  Made famous by movies starring Michael Caine and Jude Law, the story of Alfie combines great comedy and genuine pathos, including live 60s music and tells the tale of a man with an eye for the ladies, swaggering and philosophising his way from conquest to conquest.

Many of you will remember Blackeyed Theatre's popular production of Oh! What a Lovely War which was a great success at Rosehill recently.

Egremont born musician, Francis Dunnery returns to Rosehill on Saturday 6 February at 8pm with his album The Gulley Flats Boys and will be joined by Tom Rislin on keyboard.  The album is autobiographical and centres on his childhood growing up at Gulley Flatts, the housing estate in Egremont.  Francis rose to fame with the 80's rock legends It Bites and has worked with artists such as Robert Plant, Ian Brown, Lauren Hill, Dorie Jackson, Elvis Costello, Jools Holland and Chris Rea. This evening will be predominantly acoustic and a real show case for his immense talent.
